Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-19

1. Who we are and what we do

Pawsy is an online marketplace run by [Company legal name] (company number [Company registration number], address [Registered address]), referred to as "we". It helps pet owners find independent providers (pet hotels, hosts, groomers, vets, sitters, trainers) and lets them send booking requests.

We are not the provider of these services. Every service is provided by the provider you choose, and the agreement for it is between you and that provider. By using the website you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. Give us correct information and keep it up to date.

You can register with an email address and password or with your Google account. Keep your password secret; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

You may have one account. You can change your details and delete your account yourself on the account page.

3. Booking requests and prices

A booking is a request until the provider confirms it. A provider may decline a request, and a confirmed booking is an agreement between you and the provider.

The price shown is calculated from the provider's prices when you send the request (price per unit and pet size, selected extras, number of nights) and is saved with your request. The provider's own conditions apply to the service itself.

At the moment Pawsy does not take payments: you pay the provider directly, on site. [Rules for deposits and online payment, if they are introduced later]

Availability shown on the website is kept up to date by the providers and by confirmed bookings, but we cannot guarantee that a date is free until the provider confirms it.

4. Your animal

You must give accurate information about your animal (species, size, health, behaviour, vaccinations, special needs) and follow the provider's requirements shown on the listing. A provider may refuse or end a stay if the information turns out to be wrong or the animal is a danger to others.

You are responsible for damage or injury caused by your animal and for following the law on keeping animals.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

You can cancel a pending or confirmed booking in "My reservations"; the provider is notified by email. Providers can also cancel a confirmed booking, and must tell you why.

Each listing shows its cancellation policy (flexible, moderate or strict). [Exact refund / fee rules for each policy, and what happens on a no-show — to be defined]

6. Reviews

Only the customer of a booking that the provider marked as completed can review it, once per booking. Write only about your own experience, honestly and without insults, private data of other people or advertising.

A review is shown with your first name, the first letter of your surname and your animal's species. You can delete your own review. We may hide reviews that break these rules.

7. Acceptable use

Do not: give false information; create fake listings, bookings or reviews; harass providers or other users; collect data from the website with automated tools; try to break or overload the service; use the service for anything unlawful.

8. Our responsibility

We provide the platform "as it is" and work to keep it available and accurate. We do not check or guarantee the quality, safety, licences or availability of providers and do not take part in the agreement between you and a provider, except where the law says otherwise. [Limits of liability — to be decided with the lawyer]

Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot be limited under Georgian law, including your rights as a consumer.

9. Content and intellectual property

The website, its design and software belong to us or our licensors. Content you add (reviews, notes) stays yours, but you allow us to show it on the platform for as long as it is there. Providers are responsible for the content and photos of their listings.

10. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Confirmed bookings are not cancelled automatically when an account ends.

11. Changes

We may change these terms, for example when the service changes. Important changes are announced on the website or by email before they apply. If you keep using the service after that date you accept the new version.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Please contact us first so we can try to solve a problem together. Disputes go to the courts of [city, e.g. Tbilisi], without limiting any mandatory consumer rights.
